Product Details

The Cometic C14157-032 is a precision-engineered multi-layer steel (MLX) cylinder head gasket designed specifically for Subaru FB20B and FB20X engines. This high-performance gasket features an 85.7mm bore diameter and .032" compressed thickness, providing exceptional sealing capabilities for both stock and modified applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLX) construction for superior durability and heat resistance
  • 85.7mm bore diameter for precise fitment on FB20B/FB20X engines
  • .032" (0.81mm) compressed thickness for optimal compression ratio
  • Right-hand side (RHS) cylinder head gasket
  • Advanced coating technology prevents corrosion and ensures proper sealing
  • Engineered to withstand extreme temperatures and combustion pressures
  • Maintains seal integrity under high-performance conditions

Cometic's MLX gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with advanced sealing materials to create a gasket that recovers from thermal expansion and contraction better than traditional composite gaskets. This design is ideal for turbocharged applications, engine builds, and demanding performance environments where reliability is critical.
