The Moroso 20408 is a high-performance street/strip oil pan engineered specifically for Chevrolet Big Block Mark IV engines. This steel wet sump oil pan features a 6.5 quart capacity with an 8-inch deep, 10-inch long rear sump designed to provide superior oil control during hard acceleration and deceleration.

Key Features:

  • Steel construction with black powder coat finish for durability and corrosion resistance
  • Integrated trap door, crank scraper and windage screen for improved oil control
  • Sump features flat sides for increased header clearance, eliminating interference with most exhaust headers
  • Clears 4.25-inch stroke with most steel rods and 4.090-inch stroke with most aluminum rods
  • Includes magnetic drain plug for capturing metal debris
  • Uni-directional windage tray and crank scraper help keep oil off the spinning crankshaft for improved horsepower

Application:

Fits Mark IV style engines (except Gen V and Gen VI) and most chassis except 1962-'67 Chevy II, V-8 Vega/Monza, and 1955-'57 Chevy. Perfect for weekend warriors and street performance machines that see occasional strip use, this oil pan offers simple bolt-on installation with exceptional oil management capabilities.
