Product Details

The Cometic C5622-056 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler LA V8 engines. This precision-manufactured gasket features a 4.080-inch bore diameter and a compressed thickness of .056 inches, providing an excellent balance of sealing performance and compression ratio management.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • 4.080-inch bore diameter for proper cylinder sealing
  • .056-inch compressed thickness for precise compression control
  • Designed specifically for Chrysler LA small block V8 engines
  • Handles high cylinder pressures in performance and racing applications
  • Accommodates thermal expansion and engine movement
  • Resists combustion gas leakage and coolant seepage

Cometic's MLS gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with special coatings that provide exceptional conformability to sealing surfaces. This gasket is ideal for performance builds, boosted applications, or engine rebuilds where reliable sealing under extreme conditions is critical. The .056-inch thickness allows for fine-tuning of compression ratios in modified engines.
