Product Details

The EBC DP8002.17SR21 represents EBC's flagship SR21 sintered race brake pad compound, engineered for professional motorsport applications. Manufactured in the USA using advanced sintered metal powder alloy technology, these pads deliver exceptional performance for race cars with bias brake controls.

Key Features:

  • Ultra-high friction SR21 compound designed specifically for full race calipers (AP Racing, Brembo, Alcon, Wilwood)
  • Advanced transfer film technology virtually eliminates disc wear while maximizing pad life
  • Exceptional durability—lasts 3 to 5 times longer than competing semi-metallic race pads
  • Instant performance from cold start through 925°C (1697°F) operating temperature
  • No bedding-in required—install and race immediately with no volatile compounds to burn off
  • Hard compound improves pedal feel and responsiveness for precise brake modulation
  • Pad dimensions: 132mm x 54mm x 17mm thickness

The SR21 compound delivers the lowest cost-per-racing-mile of any pad available, making it ideal for endurance racing while remaining equally capable for sprint races, time attack, and professional motorsport competition. These pads provide exceptional bite from the first lap to the last without causing rotor damage.
