Rock Krawler RK08029 JK/JKU 4.0" Dia. Tube Rear Axle Mount Box Kit

The Rock Krawler RK08029 is a rear axle mount box kit engineered for the Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU (2007–2018). Designed as part of Rock Krawler's X2 high-clearance suspension conversion, this kit provides the weld-on axle-side hardware needed to upgrade your rear suspension geometry for serious off-road performance.

These high-clearance rear axle mounts are designed around 4.0" diameter axle tubes and replace the OEM rear axle side brackets with purpose-built, precision-welded components. The result is significantly improved ground clearance under the rear axle compared to stock, supporting Rock Krawler's independent 3-link rear suspension geometry.

Key Features:

• Designed for 4.0" diameter rear axle tubes on Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU
• High-clearance design improves ground clearance under the rear axle versus stock
• Precision-welded construction for strength and dimensional accuracy
• Weld-on installation replaces OEM rear axle side brackets
• Compatible with Rock Krawler's X2 rear suspension control arm, shock, and sway bar link bracket layout
• Supports 3-link rear suspension conversions with optimized rear instant center and roll center geometry

Installation requires removal of the OEM rear axle side brackets and welding of the provided rear axle side hardware, including the control arm mount, shock mount, sway bar link bracket, track bar bracket, and rear axle truss. Professional fabrication and welding is recommended. This box kit is a key component for builders converting to a Rock Krawler long-arm or X2-series rear suspension system.
