EBC SG2F012 Floating Brake Rotor - 2-Piece Set Rear

The EBC SG2F012 represents a premium fully-floating 2-piece brake disc upgrade designed for high-performance vehicles where 2-piece brake rotors are fitted as standard. These rotors feature outer friction rings cast from high-copper high-carbon G3500 disc alloy, while the bells are precision machined from aerospace grade aluminium then hard anodised for excellent durability.

Advanced Floating Technology:

• The cast iron outer ring floats on EBC's patented SD-Drive technology bobbins, allowing the friction ring to expand and contract freely by up to 3mm when subjected to extreme heat from hard braking
• All bobbins are machined from a single piece of stainless steel, preventing unsightly corrosion and ensuring the outer ring continues to float freely even after years of exposure
• Each bobbin location features an anti-rattle spring clip, ensuring totally silent operation without the off-brake disc rattle that plagues many full race 2-piece disc systems

Performance Benefits:

• 48 directionally handed curved vanes rotated in the correct direction for maximum cooling efficiency
• Reduces crucial kilogrammes off un-sprung rotational mass, leading to sharper turn-in, improved tyre road holding, better fuel economy and increased BHP at the wheels
• Seamlessly replaces pin-drive discs with true fully-floating 2-piece discs, requiring no vehicle modifications
• When the cast iron friction ring becomes worn, the outer ring alone can be replaced, allowing the centre hub and stainless bobbins to be re-used, reducing long-term running costs

This set includes both left and right two-piece floating slotted disc assemblies. EBC Racing's 2-piece floating discs offer a low maintenance solution at home on both public roads and the race track.

Specifications: 380 x 30 mm disc size, designed for Brembo caliper applications. Supplied with either thermic black or standard metallic silver disc ring, designed, manufactured and run-out tested in the UK.
