Vintage Air 347960-VUR #6 E-Z Clip Steel Cage for A/C Hose Fittings

The Vintage Air 347960-VUR is a #6 steel cage designed specifically for use with Vintage Air's E-Z Clip refrigerant hose fitting system. This essential component is required for proper assembly of air conditioning hose connections in custom A/C installations.

Key Features:

• Designed for #6 size refrigerant hose applications
• Steel construction for durability and reliability
• Snaps securely into the cage groove on corresponding E-Z Clip fittings
• Ensures proper connection integrity for refrigerant hose assemblies
• One cage required per hose end fitting connection

Installation:

Each E-Z Clip fitting connection requires the proper fitting, one cage (this part), and two cage clips (sold separately). The installation process is straightforward: slip two clips over the hose end, insert the fitting, press the cage over the hose and into the recessed groove on the fitting, then move the cage clips over the cage and close with pliers. The cage will only snap into the groove of its corresponding size, ensuring a perfect fit every time.

This component is part of Vintage Air's innovative E-Z Clip system, which allows DIY enthusiasts to complete entire A/C line fabrication, routing, and crimping in their own garage. The system's smaller-diameter hose design enables tighter radius bends for cleaner installations in tight package areas.
