Jet Performance Stage 2 Computer Chip - GM Performance Tune

Jet Performance Stage 2 Computer Chips are precision-calibrated PROM replacements engineered to unlock the hidden performance potential of factory engine management systems in GM cars, trucks, and SUVs. Designed for enthusiasts who have already upgraded their engine with supporting hardware modifications — such as a performance intake, headers, or a low-restriction exhaust — the Stage 2 chip delivers an aggressive recalibration that takes full advantage of those improvements through intelligent software tuning.

At the core of every Stage 2 chip is Dynamic Spectrum Tuning (DST), Jet's exclusive calibration technology that optimizes engine parameters across the full RPM range. Rather than targeting a single point on the power curve, DST recalibrates air/fuel ratio, ignition timing advance, and automatic transmission shift points to deliver measurable power gains and sharper throttle response throughout all driving conditions.

Key Features:

• Exclusive Dynamic Spectrum Tuning (DST) technology for comprehensive, full-range RPM optimization
• Recalibrates air/fuel ratio, ignition advance, and automatic transmission shift parameters
• Stage 2 calibration engineered specifically for vehicles equipped with supporting performance modifications
• Simple plug-and-play PROM replacement — no soldering or specialized tools required
• Each application-specific program is track and dyno tested for proven, repeatable results
• Intended for off-road and competition use only

Unlike generic aftermarket chips, every Jet Stage 2 chip is programmed to the precise specifications of its target application, ensuring the calibration is properly matched to the factory ECM it replaces. The result is real, measurable horsepower gains without compromising drivability or engine reliability — provided the appropriate supporting modifications are in place.

Jet Performance Products has been a recognized leader in engine management tuning since the mid-1980s, pioneering the process of reverse-engineering and recalibrating factory GM engine computers for improved performance. Rigorous research and development — backed by extensive track and dyno testing — supports every chip program in the Stage 2 lineup, making Jet one of the most trusted names in PROM-based performance tuning.
