Dinan Cold Air Intake System for BMW

Dinan's Cold Air Intake System line represents the pinnacle of BMW intake engineering, delivering measurable airflow improvements and real-world performance gains that the restrictive factory airbox simply cannot match. Founded in 1979 and recognized as North America's premier BMW performance tuner, Dinan draws on decades of dedicated BMW tuning expertise to engineer each intake system with one goal: unlocking the true potential of your turbocharged BMW engine—whether stock or modified.

Where the factory intake prioritizes noise suppression and cost efficiency over outright flow, Dinan's intake systems fundamentally rethink the induction path. Enlarged airbox enclosures, increased filter surface area, and high-flow construction combine to significantly outflow restrictive OEM designs across the entire RPM range—reducing turbo workload, lowering intake air temperatures, and raising the power ceiling for enthusiast and modified builds alike.

Key Features:

• Dramatically increased airflow over stock — Dinan intake systems are engineered to significantly outflow factory designs, delivering measurable gains in throttle response and top-end power
• Enlarged airbox and filter area — fully reworked, larger-volume enclosures and expanded filter surface area maximize air volume available to the engine across the full RPM range
• Sealed and semi-sealed system designs — Dinan actively isolates the intake from engine bay heat to ensure only cold, oxygen-rich air enters the intake tract, preserving air density and protecting power output
• Premium construction materials — variants are available in carbon fiber and high heat-deflection PEX materials, offering lightweight insulating properties that further protect the intake tract from thermal contamination
• Enhanced induction sound — removal of factory intake resonators and refined system designs allow the natural turbo spool and induction tone to be fully appreciated
• Direct-fit OEM+ installation — purpose-built replacements for factory components requiring no cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications; stock mounting locations are retained for precise fitment
• Designed to complement Dinan performance software — when paired with Dinan ECU upgrades, the increased airflow supply ensures the engine can fully capitalize on elevated boost levels and tuned fueling maps
• Emissions compliance — Dinan intake systems are developed and validated to operate within applicable emissions standards for on-street use; compliance status varies by variant and is noted on individual product pages
• Backed by Dinan's industry-leading warranty — covered by the remainder of the vehicle's factory limited warranty (up to 4 years/50,000 miles) or 2 years/unlimited miles, whichever is greater

Dinan cold air intake systems are distributed through select BMW dealerships and authorized Dinan performance service facilities, reflecting a commitment to dealer-grade quality and support that purely aftermarket brands cannot offer. Whether you're building a refined street machine or a high-output track build, a Dinan cold air intake is a foundational performance upgrade that delivers results you can feel from the first pull.
