Product Details

The Toyo Observe GSI-6 HP (MPN 149460) is a studless winter high performance passenger car tire in size 225/65R17 102H. It is designed to deliver traction and handling on snow, slush and ice while helping keep road noise low for a comfortable ride. It carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol and meets the USTMA performance criteria for use in severe snow conditions.

Tread Design Features:

Directional tread design with staggered tread blocks
Serrated stability rib and large inner blocks with sawtoothed edges for stability at highway speeds and when changing lanes
Split offset shoulder blocks, with large outer blocks on the outside shoulder for stability and grip in deep snow
4 circumferential grooves and tapered evacuation grooves that move water and slush away from the center of the tire to reduce the risk of hydroplaning
High density 3D sipes and a unique 360 degree spiral edge sipe design for added lateral traction when cornering
Plow edge, tapered shoulder wedge and shoulder lightning edge for traction in deep snow and slush
Snow claws (edges within the tread grooves) that dig into deep snow and slush

Compound Technology:

Microbit technology: crushed walnut shells embedded in the tread compound dig and bite into the ice surface for improved traction
