GPD 1811789 Ignition Knock Sensor for Suzuki SX4

The GPD 1811789 ignition knock sensor is compatible with Chevrolet Grand Vitara and Suzuki SX4 models. This critical engine management component is engineered to detect detonation or knocking events, enabling the engine control unit to adjust ignition timing and prevent engine damage.

Key Features:

• Includes 6-inch wiring harness with blade terminal that provides sufficient length for installation in engine compartments
• Designed to meet/exceed OE fit, form and function
• 100% tested for durability and performance
• Direct fit replacement
• Features single blade terminal and female round connector designed to interface seamlessly with vehicle's existing wiring system
• Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications

The knock sensor mounts to the engine block, cylinder head, or intake manifold where it continuously monitors for abnormal engine vibrations caused by pre-ignition or detonation. By detecting these conditions, the sensor allows the engine control module to make real-time adjustments to ignition timing, optimizing engine performance while protecting against potential damage. Mounting hardware is not included.
