The Edelbrock 5001 Torker II intake manifold is engineered for high-performance street applications on 1955-86 small-block Chevrolet engines (262-400 cubic inches). This single-plane, low-rise design delivers exceptional top-end power while maintaining clearance for restrictive hood configurations.

Key Features:

  • Single-plane design optimized for high-RPM performance and maximum horsepower
  • Low-rise profile provides clearance for hood-restricted applications
  • Integrated exhaust crossover passage enables reliable cold-weather warm-ups
  • Compatible with late-model water necks, air conditioning brackets, alternators, and H.E.I. distributors
  • Fits Corvette and 1987+ stock cylinder heads
  • No provisions for exhaust-heated choke or EGR systems

Important Compatibility Notes:

  • Requires electric or manual choke carburetor
  • Not compatible with 1987+ cast iron heads
  • Will not cover port openings on Chevrolet Bowtie or LT1 cylinder heads
  • Not recommended for heavy-duty vehicles (trucks, vans); use Edelbrock Performer EPS #2701 instead
