Edelbrock 38353 Throttle Body Adapter for 1994-95 Ford Mustang 5.0L

The Edelbrock 38353 throttle body adapter kit is designed specifically for 1994-1995 Ford Mustang 5.0L applications when installing Edelbrock Performer 5.0 intake manifold (PN 3821) or Performer RPM intake manifold (PN 7126). This adapter is necessary because the 1994-1995 throttle body features a different bolt flange pattern and idle air control motor configuration compared to the 1987-1993 models.

Key Features:

• Relocates the throttle body to match factory positioning—swung out 50 degrees and dropped 1 degree from the 1987-1993 location
• Accepts stock vacuum fittings for easy installation with OEM components
• Precision-engineered bolt pattern matches 1994-1995 throttle body flange
• Compatible with stock idle air control motor
• Enables performance gains when paired with Edelbrock intake manifolds and larger throttle bodies

Edelbrock testing on a 1994 Mustang demonstrated a 0.4 second improvement in 10-70 MPH acceleration when using this adapter with the Performer 5.0 intake (PN 3821) and a 70mm throttle body compared to the stock configuration. This adapter ensures proper fitment and maintains all factory vacuum and idle air control functions while unlocking the performance potential of Edelbrock intake manifolds.
