Product Details

The Cometic C5511-080 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Ford Windsor V8 engines with a 4.030" bore diameter. This precision-manufactured gasket features a .080" compressed thickness, making it ideal for performance builds requiring proper deck clearance and compression ratio tuning.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction provides superior sealing and durability under extreme cylinder pressures
  • 4.030" bore diameter accommodates standard and mild overbore Windsor V8 applications
  • .080" compressed thickness allows for precise compression ratio adjustment
  • Designed for non-SVO Ford Windsor V8 engines including 289, 302, and 351W variants
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with advanced coating technology ensure maximum combustion sealing
  • Eliminates the need for retorquing after initial installation

Cometic MLS gaskets are the preferred choice of engine builders and racers who demand reliable sealing in high-performance and racing applications. The multiple layers of stainless steel provide exceptional recovery characteristics and maintain consistent clamping force even under thermal cycling and extreme combustion pressures.

We ordered a cover for a pickup truck bed and were so pleased that it was shipped so quickly. The price was the lowest that we found on the internet or in any of the stores where we looked. We were notified by e-mail as soon as it shipped. We will definitely shop this site again.
