Cometic C5215-070 GM Dart/Brodix Small Block V8 MLS Head Gasket 4.270" Bore

The Cometic C5215-070 is a premium Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for GM small block V8 engines using Dart or Brodix aftermarket cylinder heads. This high-performance gasket features a .070" compressed thickness and is designed for a 4.270" bore diameter with 4.500" bore center spacing.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
• .070" (1.78mm) compressed gasket thickness
• 4.270" bore diameter accommodates stroker and high-performance builds
• 4.500" bore center spacing for proper alignment
• Engineered for Dart and Brodix aftermarket small block Chevy cylinder heads
• Handles high cylinder pressures in boosted and naturally aspirated applications
• Embossed stainless steel layers with FKM elastomer coating

Cometic MLS gaskets provide exceptional conformability to sealing surfaces while maintaining torque retention and resistance to extreme temperatures. The multiple-layer design allows the gasket to adapt to block and head movement during thermal cycling, making it ideal for street performance, race, and forced induction engines. This gasket is a direct replacement for builds requiring precise bore sizing and compression ratio tuning.
