Product Details

The Cometic C5622-140 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered for Chrysler LA small block V8 engines. This premium gasket features a 4.080-inch bore diameter and .140-inch compressed thickness, making it ideal for performance builds and high-compression applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • 4.080-inch bore diameter accommodates stock and slightly overbored engines
  • .140-inch compressed thickness allows fine-tuning of compression ratios
  • Designed specifically for Chrysler LA small block V8 engines (273, 318, 340, 360)
  • Excellent heat resistance and combustion seal for high-performance applications
  • Reusable design with proper installation and removal procedures

Cometic MLS gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with advanced coating technology to provide exceptional conformability to cylinder head and block surfaces. This design compensates for minor surface imperfections while maintaining consistent clamping pressure across the entire sealing area, making them the preferred choice for modified and high-horsepower engines.

Fantastic

great product and easy to find

I received the order better than I expected. ( I actually ordered elsewhere and cancelled that order because Autoplicity was faster and cheaper.) Was well pleased that the order arrived in time promised especially during this pandemic!
