Cometic C5433-098 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket Chevy Big Block Bore - for V8 4.570

The Cometic C5433-098 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered for Chevrolet Mark-IV and GM Gen-V/VI Big Block V8 engines. This precision gasket features a .098" (2.5mm) compressed thickness and a 4.570" bore diameter, making it ideal for performance and racing applications.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel construction provides superior sealing and durability under high cylinder pressures
• 4.570" bore diameter accommodates standard and slightly over-bored big block applications
• .098" compressed thickness allows for precise compression ratio tuning
• Designed for aftermarket cylinder heads with undersized water ports for custom port matching
• Eliminates the need for retorquing after initial installation
• Resistant to extreme temperatures and pressures in high-performance applications

Cometic MLS gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with advanced coating technology that adapts to sealing surface imperfections. The undersized water ports on this gasket allow engine builders to custom-match water passages to their specific cylinder heads, optimizing coolant flow for maximum performance. Suitable for street performance, drag racing, and marine applications where reliable sealing is critical.
