Product Details

The Cometic C4483-048 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for the Mitsubishi 4B11T turbocharged engine. This premium gasket features Cometic's proven MLX (Multi-Layer Stopper) design with a compressed thickness of .048 inches and an 88mm bore diameter.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior strength and durability
  • .048" (1.22mm) compressed gasket thickness
  • 88mm cylinder bore diameter
  • MLX stopper layer technology prevents gasket failure at cylinder openings
  • Accommodates high-performance and turbocharged applications
  • Precision-engineered for the Mitsubishi 4B11T engine platform
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with elastomeric coating

Cometic MLS head gaskets are designed to withstand extreme cylinder pressures and temperatures, making them ideal for modified and high-boost turbocharged engines. The multiple layers of stainless steel provide excellent torque retention and eliminate the need for retorquing, while the proprietary coating ensures optimal sealing performance.
