Cometic C15515-040 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket GM Gen III/IV Bore - for LS1/LS2/LS3/LS6 4.030

The Cometic C15515-040 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for GM LS Gen-III and Gen-IV small block V8 engines, including LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 variants. This precision gasket features a 4.030-inch bore diameter and .040-inch compressed thickness, making it ideal for performance builds and engine rebuilds requiring reliable sealing under high-stress conditions.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
• 4.030-inch bore diameter accommodates stock and slightly modified LS engines
• .040-inch compressed thickness allows for precise compression ratio tuning
• Engineered for LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 Gen-III/IV small block V8 applications
• High-temperature resistant coating prevents corrosion and maintains integrity
• Handles extreme cylinder pressures in boosted and naturally aspirated applications

Cometic's MLS gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with elastomeric coatings that conform to sealing surfaces while maintaining the strength needed to withstand high combustion pressures. This design makes them the preferred choice for performance enthusiasts, engine builders, and racers who demand maximum reliability from their LS-powered vehicles.
