Cometic C15496-051 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket GM Gen III/IV Bore - LS1/LS2/LS3/LS6 4.080

The Cometic C15496-051 is a multi-layer steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for GM LS-series Gen III and Gen IV small block V8 engines, including LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 applications. This precision-manufactured gasket features a 4.080-inch bore diameter and 0.051-inch compressed thickness, making it ideal for stock and mild performance builds.

Key Features:

• Multi-layer steel construction provides superior sealing and durability under extreme cylinder pressures
• 4.080-inch bore diameter accommodates standard LS-series cylinder bores
• 0.051-inch compressed thickness for optimal compression ratio and sealing
• Advanced embossment technology ensures even distribution of sealing pressure
• Compatible with LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 Gen III/IV small block V8 engines
• Resistant to coolant and oil degradation for long-lasting performance

Cometic gaskets utilize proprietary materials and manufacturing processes to deliver race-proven reliability for street, strip, and track applications. The MLS design allows the gasket to micro-conform to sealing surfaces, compensating for minor imperfections while maintaining combustion chamber integrity under demanding conditions.
