The COMP Cams CL42-413-11 is an Xtreme Energy retro-fit hydraulic roller cam and lifter kit engineered for Oldsmobile 260-455 c.i. V8 engines. Built on a billet steel camshaft and ground to COMP Cams' exacting tolerances, this kit delivers a meaningful street performance upgrade with a broad, usable power band from 1,000 to 5,000 RPM—making it equally at home on daily-driven cruisers and weekend performers.

The XR262HR grind features quicker-opening lobe profiles that increase responsiveness and maximize the area under the lift curve. The cam's design also generates higher manifold vacuum, which supports power brake function while allowing increased duration for improved performance. This kit is an excellent choice for street-carbureted applications and responds especially well to supporting modifications such as aftermarket intake manifolds, long-tube headers, and numerically higher rear gear ratios.
