Product Details

The Cometic C15256-044 is a precision-engineered Multi-Layer Stainless (MLX) cylinder head gasket designed specifically for GM's 2.0L LHU and LNF Gen-2 ECOTEC turbocharged four-cylinder engines. This gasket features a .044" (1.12mm) compressed thickness and an 88mm bore diameter, providing optimal sealing performance for both stock and modified applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Stainless (MLX) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • .044" compressed thickness allows for precise compression ratio tuning
  • 88mm bore diameter optimized for LHU/LNF engine specifications
  • Engineered to withstand extreme cylinder pressures in turbocharged applications
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with viton rubber coating provide exceptional combustion sealing
  • Resists head lift and gasket failure common with high-boost applications

Cometic's MLX gaskets are the preferred choice for performance enthusiasts and engine builders working with GM's turbocharged ECOTEC platform. The multi-layer stainless steel design provides improved rebound characteristics and maintains sealing integrity through heat cycles, making this gasket ideal for street performance, road racing, and high-horsepower builds.
