Cometic C15203-040 GM Gen-V Small Block Cylinder Head Gasket MLX Bore - LT1/LT4 V8 040 4.150

The Cometic C15203-040 is a premium Multi-Layer Steel (MLX) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for GM LT1 and LT4 Gen-V small block V8 engines. This high-performance gasket features a .040" compressed thickness and is designed for a 4.150" bore diameter, providing exceptional sealing capability for both stock and modified applications.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLX) construction for superior sealing and durability
• .040" compressed gasket thickness for precise compression ratio tuning
• 4.150" bore diameter accommodates standard and slightly overbored cylinders
• Application-specific design for GM LT1/LT4 Gen-V small block V8 engines
• Eliminates the need for additional sealants in most applications
• Embossed stainless steel layers with a Viton rubber coating resist extreme temperatures and pressures

Cometic's MLX gaskets are a popular choice for performance builds, forced induction applications, and high-compression engines where reliability is critical. The multi-layer design allows the gasket to conform to slight imperfections in the head and block surfaces while maintaining excellent sealing under extreme conditions.
