Product Details

The Cometic C5498-045 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler 420A and ECC engines. This precision-manufactured gasket features an 88.5mm bore diameter and a compressed thickness of .045 inches, providing an excellent balance between sealing performance and compression ratio optimization.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • 88.5mm bore diameter for precise fitment on Chrysler 420A/ECC engines
  • .045" (1.14mm) compressed thickness for compression control
  • Advanced coating technology prevents corrosion and improves torque retention
  • Engineered to withstand extreme cylinder pressures in high-performance applications
  • Eliminates the need for sealants or re-torquing

Cometic MLS head gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with a Viton rubber coating, providing exceptional resistance to blow-out and accommodating minor surface imperfections. This design makes them ideal for both street performance and competition applications, offering reliable sealing in boosted and naturally aspirated engines alike.

Good fast shipping. Easy ordering.

Fantastic ! Ordered a Weather Tech Cargo Liner for my 2012 Ford Explorer. Price was $60 less here than ALL other sites on web. I was skeptical that this was going to be a counterfeit -- as the price was too good to be true. I was extremely happy to receive the genuine product as I expected in less than a week -- and for $60 less than the competitors ! GREAT VALUE and great service ! I will definitely be back !!

quick and easy
