Product Details

The Dorman 601-427 Active Grille Shutter Assembly is a direct replacement component designed to restore proper function to your vehicle's active grille shutter system. This assembly is engineered to match the fit and performance of the original equipment part on specified Chrysler applications.

Key Features:

  • Direct-fit replacement for factory active grille shutter assembly
  • Designed to integrate seamlessly with original equipment shutter motor
  • Helps maintain optimal engine temperature and improve aerodynamics
  • Durable black finish matches OEM appearance
  • Motor sold separately for complete system repair

Active grille shutters play an important role in modern vehicle efficiency by automatically opening and closing to regulate airflow through the radiator. When closed, they improve aerodynamics and fuel economy, while opening when additional cooling is needed. This Dorman replacement assembly restores this functionality when the original shutter blades or linkage becomes damaged or inoperative.
