GPD 1712229 Blower Motor Resistor Front HVAC

The GPD 1712229 is a front-mounted blower motor resistor designed to restore proper HVAC fan speed control in your vehicle. This direct-fit replacement component regulates the blower motor's speed settings, allowing you to control airflow through your heating and air conditioning system across all fan speeds.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement design for easy installation
• Controls blower motor fan speeds for manual HVAC systems
• Precision-engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications
• Manufactured with quality materials to resist heat and electrical stress
• Includes integrated wiring connector for plug-and-play installation

Common Failure Symptoms:

• Blower only works on high speed setting
• Certain fan speeds not functioning
• Intermittent fan operation
• No airflow from vents on lower speed settings

The blower motor resistor is typically located on the passenger side near the blower motor assembly, often behind the kick panel or under the dashboard. When the resistor fails, you'll typically notice that only the highest fan speed works, or that certain intermediate speeds no longer function. This GPD replacement resistor restores full control of your HVAC system's fan speeds, ensuring comfortable cabin temperatures year-round.
