Product Details

The Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 is an extreme-performance summer tire designed for enthusiasts who demand track-day capability with street legality. This tire bridges the gap between competition slicks and street tires, delivering race-inspired grip and handling while remaining DOT-approved for road use.

Key Features:

  • Track-focused tread compound provides maximum dry grip and cornering performance
  • XL (Extra Load) construction supports high-performance driving demands
  • Bi-compound tread design with different rubber zones for optimized grip and longevity
  • Compatible with Michelin Track Connect system for real-time performance monitoring
  • Asymmetric tread pattern enhances steering response and stability
  • Limited exterior shoulder grooves reduce tread squirm during hard cornering
  • Summer-only design—not for use in near-freezing or winter conditions

Engineered for sports cars and high-performance vehicles, this tire excels on both road courses and canyon roads. The Pilot Sport Cup 2 features Michelin's Track Variable Contact Patch 3.0 technology, which maintains consistent contact with the road surface during aggressive driving. While optimized for track use, this tire remains streetable for spirited weekend drives and transit to the circuit.
