Elaplast 11-53-1-713-221 Lower Radiator Hose

The Elaplast 11-53-1-713-221 is a premium lower radiator hose designed as an OEM-quality replacement for BMW cooling systems. This hose connects the thermostat to the radiator, providing a critical pathway for coolant circulation within the engine's cooling system.

Key Features:

• Constructed from high-grade EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber for superior heat and chemical resistance
• Precision-molded with correct bends and curves to ensure proper fitment and routing
• Temperature rating from -65°F to +350°F (-54°C to +177°C) for reliable performance under extreme conditions
• Meets SAE J20R4 Class D-1 and SAE J1684 Type EC specifications for electro-chemical degradation resistance
• Dual inner diameter design for proper connection points
• OEM-quality construction matching original BMW specifications

This radiator hose is engineered to prevent coolant leaks and maintain optimal engine operating temperatures. Regular inspection and replacement of radiator hoses is essential preventative maintenance, as deteriorated hoses can lead to coolant loss, overheating, and potential engine damage. The ECD-resistant EPDM material helps prevent electrolysis from breaking down the rubber from the inside out, ensuring long-lasting durability.
