Yokohama Advan YA48J35ECB A048 Track Competition Tire

The Yokohama Advan A048 is a high-performance motorsports tire engineered for track days, circuit racing, autocross competitions, and race schools. Developed using Yokohama's proven race tire technology, this street-legal competition tire delivers exceptional performance for enthusiasts who demand race-ready capabilities.

Key Features:

• Super sticky tread compound for maximum dry pavement grip
• Shallow directional tread pattern optimized for track performance
• Single-block tread design increases contact patch and tread stiffness
• Exceptionally stiff casing minimizes tread squirm for enhanced driver feedback
• Precise control with predictable grip and sure-footed braking
• Medium compound formulation balances grip with wear rate

The A048 has served as original equipment on the Lotus Elise Sport and as the control tire for the Australian V8 Utes Racing Series. Molded with a tread depth of 4.76mm (ideal for damp tracks), these tires can be shaved to 3.2mm for optimal road racing and track use in dry conditions. The directional tread pattern enhances steering response and cornering stability, making the Advan A048 an excellent choice for drivers seeking track-focused performance.
