Westin R5 XD Nerf Step Bars for Trucks and SUVs

The Westin R5 XD Nerf Step Bars are a patented, purpose-built step bar solution engineered to deliver noticeably easier cab access for drivers and passengers of all ages and mobility levels. The defining feature of the R5 XD line is its extra-low step design — the step surface sits a full 3 inches closer to the ground than Westin's standard R5 Nerf Bars, making entry and exit safer and more comfortable for any truck or SUV.

Key Features:

• Patented Extra-Low "XD" Step Design: Drops the step surface 3 inches lower than standard R5 bars, providing significantly easier and safer cab access for all passengers
• Wide Step Area with Oversized Tread Pads: A broad 5-inch wide step area fitted with injection-molded polymer tread pads delivers confident, slip-resistant footing in all weather conditions
• Rocker Panel Mounting: Mounts directly to the vehicle's rocker panel for a seamless, custom-integrated appearance that also helps protect against rocker panel damage
• Injection-Molded Bracket Covers: Included bracket covers conceal all mounting hardware for a clean, finished, high-end look
• Complete Vehicle-Specific Kit: Each set includes driver-side and passenger-side bars plus a vehicle-specific mounting hardware kit for a straightforward installation
• Optional R5 LED Light Kit Compatible: End caps are compatible with the optional R5 LED Light Kit (part no. 28-51003, sold separately) for added visibility and style
