ContiTech D4060729 Dual-Sided Poly-V Serpentine Belt - 6-Rib 72.9

The ContiTech D4060729 is a dual-sided Poly-V (serpentine) belt engineered for demanding drive systems that require power transmission from both the inner and outer belt surfaces. Unlike standard single-sided serpentine belts, the dual-sided design features longitudinal ribs on both faces, allowing it to drive accessories on either side without the need for an idler pulley reversal.

Key Features:

• Dual-sided rib profile — transmits power from both belt surfaces for complex accessory drive layouts
• 6-rib (PK) cross-section — wide load distribution reduces stress and extends service life
• 72.9-inch (1850 mm) effective length — precision-molded for consistent fit and tension
• EPDM rubber compound — resists heat, oil, ozone, and cracking; maintains flexibility across a wide temperature range
• High-tensile fiber cord reinforcement — minimizes stretch and maintains proper belt tension over time
• Manufactured by ContiTech, a Continental company and globally recognized OEM and aftermarket belt supplier
• Meets or exceeds OEM specifications for fit, form, and function

ContiTech Poly-V belts are produced to strict dimensional tolerances, ensuring quiet, vibration-free operation and long service intervals. The D4060729 is a direct-fit replacement for applications originally equipped with a dual-sided serpentine belt of this specification.
