Ferrea F1604-1 Titanium Exhaust Valve 1.650 11/32 5.240

The Ferrea F1604-1 is a premium titanium exhaust valve designed for high-performance small block engines including Chevrolet, Chrysler, and Ford applications. This competition-grade valve features a 1.650" head diameter, 11/32" stem diameter, and 5.240" overall length with a .290" tip length and 22-degree semi-tulip configuration.

Advanced Titanium Construction:

• Forged from high-temperature titanium alloy with silicon for superior strength and heat resistance
• Proprietary Chrome Nitride (CrN) coating applied uniformly to entire valve for protection against extreme temperatures
• Meticulously CNC-machined to exacting tolerances with extensive quality control procedures
• Heat-treated and stress-relieved to ensure molecular integrity and extended valve life

Performance Benefits:

• Significant weight reduction compared to stainless steel valves for improved valvetrain dynamics
• CrN coating provides rapid heat dissipation, friction reduction, and superior wear resistance
• Coating allows dynamic valve train forces without delaminating or flaking
• Engineered for high-RPM racing applications including drag racing, road racing, and oval track

Ferrea recommends using bronze valve guides (Ampco 45 or copper-bronze) with titanium valves for optimal heat dissipation and lubricity. Hard tip is available as an optional upgrade. Valve is sold individually.
