GPD 1712091 A/C HVAC Pressure Transducer Switch

The GPD 1712091 is a direct-fit aftermarket HVAC A/C Pressure Transducer engineered to restore proper air conditioning system operation. This electrical sensor is designed to provide accurate refrigerant pressure feedback to the engine control module (ECM), which uses that data to regulate A/C compressor operation and protect the system from pressure extremes.

In modern vehicles, the ECM relies on this signal to actively manage the A/C system. In earlier applications, the pressure transducer functions as a direct safety switch to shut off the compressor before failure can occur.
