GPD 1712055 HD Binary A/C Pressure Switch Heavy-Duty

The GPD 1712055 is a heavy-duty (HD) binary A/C pressure switch designed for use in automotive and commercial vehicle air conditioning systems. As a dual-function pressure switch, it monitors both high- and low-side refrigerant pressures to protect the A/C compressor and maintain safe system operation.

How It Works:

A binary switch monitors refrigerant pressure at two thresholds. On the low side, it cuts compressor operation if pressure drops too low — preventing compressor damage from refrigerant loss. On the high side, it shuts off the compressor if pressure spikes beyond a safe limit — protecting against system over-pressurization. This dual protection makes it an essential safeguard in any A/C system.

Key Features:

• Binary (dual-function) pressure switch — monitors both high and low pressure thresholds
• Designed for heavy-duty (HD) vehicle A/C applications
• Provides compressor protection against low refrigerant and excessive pressure conditions
• Direct-fit replacement for compatible applications
• Backed by GPD's 1-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship
