GPD 1411983 A/C Accumulator Filter Drier Heavy Duty Truck Direct Fit

The GPD (Global Parts Distributors) 1411983 is a direct-fit A/C accumulator and filter drier engineered for heavy-duty truck applications, including Peterbilt and Kenworth platforms. This steel-construction unit serves as both a filter and a moisture-removal component within the air conditioning system, protecting the A/C circuit from contaminants and humidity that flushing alone cannot eliminate.

Key Features:

• Direct fit replacement — application-specific design for a hassle-free installation
• OE-quality desiccant — effectively absorbs moisture to prevent corrosion and system damage
• Steel construction — durable build for demanding heavy-duty and commercial vehicle environments
• Meets or exceeds OE fit, form, and function — engineered to match original equipment specifications
• Durability tested — every new design is tested to ensure long-lasting performance
• North America vehicle fitment — designed and validated for North American heavy-duty trucks

The accumulator/filter drier plays a critical role in A/C system health. It removes moisture and particulate contaminants that cannot be eliminated through flushing, preventing damage to compressors and other downstream components. Industry best practice requires replacement of the accumulator/filter drier any time the A/C system is opened for service.
