GPD 1411728 A/C Accumulator Filter Drier Steel Body

The gpd 1411728 is a steel-bodied A/C accumulator and filter drier designed to remove moisture and contaminants from the vehicle's air conditioning system. Acting as both an accumulator and a receiver drier, this component protects the A/C compressor by trapping harmful moisture and debris before they can circulate through the system. Industry best practice requires replacement of the accumulator/drier every time the A/C system is opened for service.

Key Features:

• Steel construction for durability and long service life
• Integrated desiccant filter media effectively absorbs moisture from refrigerant
• Male insert O-ring fittings on both inlet and outlet for a secure, leak-resistant connection
• Inlet fitting diameter: 0.625 in.
• Body diameter: 76.2 mm (approx. 3 in.); body length: 203.2 mm (approx. 8 in.)
• No moisture indicator window or sight glass — straightforward, reliable design
• No bracket or mounting studs included

Replacing the accumulator/drier during any A/C service is a required step to ensure system integrity and protect downstream components. This gpd unit is engineered to meet the demands of professional A/C system service and repair.
