Karlyn 12-994 Control Arm

The Karlyn 12-994 Control Arm is a suspension control arm, sometimes called a wishbone or suspension arm. It links the wheel carrier or steering knuckle to the vehicle's chassis or subframe.

What it does:

• Works as a hinge, so the wheel can move up and down with the road surface
• Helps locate the wheel and hold suspension and steering geometry
• Connects to the chassis through bushings and to the wheel carrier through a ball joint

Worn bushings or ball joints can cause excess suspension movement, alignment problems and vibration. Replacing a worn control arm helps restore stable handling and steering.
