Motul 110619 Classic Eighties 10W-40 Semi-Synthetic Engine Oil 2-Liter

Motul Classic Eighties is a premium semi-synthetic multigrade engine oil specially engineered for modern classic and "youngtimer" vehicles from the 1980s fitted with 4-stroke gasoline or diesel engines, naturally aspirated, supercharged, or turbocharged, equipped with carburetor or fuel injection.

Key Features:

• Formulated with high zinc, phosphorus (ZDDP content >1800 ppm) and molybdenum additives for superior protection
• 10W-40 formula meets API SL performance standards from the past while combining Motul's latest motorsport-developed technology
• High ZDDP levels offer supreme protection of critical components like high-lift, flat-tappet cams prone to wear
• Molybdenum provides synergistic effect with ZDDP, lowering friction while increasing lubricating film strength and engine efficiency
• Excellent cold flow properties prevent engine wear during start-ups, even after long periods of storage
• Highly adhesive with rust inhibitors and anticorrosion additives for extra protection during wintering periods

This formulation delivers optimal performance for American, Asian (including boxer and rotary engines), and European vehicles from the 1980s. The oxidation-stable synthetic base maintains consistent engine oil pressure and high-temperature oil film strength, which is fundamental for turbocharged, low displacement, high performance engines.
