DEI 10405 Heat Shroud Aluminized Sleeving 1/2-1-1/4 Inch ID x 3ft Hook and Loop Closure

The DEI 10405 Heat Shroud is constructed from high-temperature rated glass fiber fabric with an aluminized outer facing, designed to withstand intense heat and harsh conditions while providing fire-resistant protection up to 500°F. This protective sleeving reflects 90 percent of radiant heat, making it ideal for safeguarding hoses, wires, and cables in high-temperature engine bays and exhaust areas.

Key Features:

• Hook and loop closure design along the open edges allows installation without the need to disconnect or remove wires, cables, and hoses
• Fits diameters from 1/2 inch to 1-1/4 inch ID (inner diameter)
• 36 inches (3 feet) in length, easily trimmable to custom fit
• Provides fire-resistant protection up to 500°F continuous temperature for direct heat exposure
• Withstands 2000°F radiant heat
• Durable construction protects against heat, oil, grease, dirt, and road grime
• Fireproof material that can be shaped to fit the tightest bends

Heat Shroud solves the problem of heat and abrasions causing failure of lines, hoses, and wires by simply wrapping around whatever needs protection and closing the edges. The reusable hook and loop design allows for adjustments and removal without damage, making it a practical solution for protecting fuel lines, brake lines, wiring harnesses, A/C hoses, and other heat-sensitive components in automotive, marine, RV, and powersports applications.
