Product Details

The General Altimax 365 AW is a versatile all-weather grand touring tire designed for drivers of passenger cars, sedans, coupes, and crossovers who want year-round performance with the capability to handle severe winter conditions. This tire carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) certification, allowing you to drive confidently on one set of tires all year long.

Advanced Tread Design:

  • High-silica all-season tread compound molded into a symmetric pattern designed to blend dry and wet traction with enhanced wintry weather grip
  • Sinusoidal Siping System for increased inclement weather traction while maintaining dry road handling
  • Wide waved longitudinal grooves constructed for effective hydroplaning resistance, with interlocking snow-blocks that boost snow traction
  • Center rib with lower sipe density for increased steering feel, even wear, and reduced noise throughout the tire's life
  • Visual Alignment Indicators (VAI) on parallel shoulder blocks help drivers easily spot misalignment issues to prevent irregular tread wear

Durable Construction:

  • Single-ply casing for a smooth, comfortable ride
  • Twin steel belts to maximize strength and durability with polyamide reinforcement for high-speed stability
  • XL (Extra Load) construction rated for increased load capacity

The General Altimax 365 AW offers enhanced traction, year-round versatility, and comes backed by a 60,000-mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty. The computer-optimized design reduces road noises and vibrations for a quiet highway ride. This 245/40R18 97V XL tire delivers reliable performance in wet, dry, and winter conditions without the need for seasonal tire changes.
