Facet 7.8397 Engine Coolant Thermostat with Gasket

The Facet 7.8397 is a precision-engineered engine coolant thermostat that regulates engine temperatures by controlling the flow rate of coolant through the radiator, ensuring a balance between heat introduced into the system and that released externally. Manufactured in Italy, this thermostat is compatible with Subaru OEM part numbers 21200AA070, 21200AA071, and 21200AA072.

Key Features:

• Includes gasket for complete installation
• Accelerates engine preheating and constantly regulates running temperature to prolong engine life
• Improves performance and reduces fuel consumption and emissions
• Features wax and aluminum sensing element that mechanically opens valve when coolant exceeds activation temperature
• Full compatibility and functional equivalence with OE, using carefully selected materials

When the engine is cold started, the thermostat prevents coolant circulation to the radiator, reducing the time needed to reach ideal operating temperature. Facet thermostats are precision-manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications for reliable, long-lasting performance.
