555 SI-4685 Idler Arm for Nissan

The 555 SI-4685 Idler Arm is a precision-engineered steering component manufactured by Sankei Industry, a Japanese company specializing in suspension and steering parts since 1960. This idler arm serves as a pivot point for the steering linkage assembly in the vehicle, playing a critical role in maintaining proper steering alignment and reducing steering effort.

Key Features:

• Low-friction bearing for ease of use and thin coating for corrosion resistance
• Easily greaseable and made from heavy-duty steel material for long durability
• Manufactured at ISO 9001-certified facilities to ensure consistent high quality
• Meets OE specifications and manufactured to exacting OE tolerances for proper fit and function
• Suitable for left fitting position in the vehicle

Function and Installation:

The idler arm supports the end of the center link on the passenger's side of the vehicle and bolts to the vehicle's frame or subframe. It attaches on the opposite side of the center link from the pitman's arm and to the vehicle frame, supporting the center link. If fitted with grease fittings, these should be lubricated with a grease gun at each oil change.
