Aftermarket SAA30577561#F Engine Coolant Thermostat for SAAB Vehicles

The Aftermarket SAA30577561#F is an engine coolant thermostat designed as a direct replacement for SAAB vehicles. This critical cooling system component sits between the engine and radiator in the thermostat housing, regulating engine temperature to maintain optimal performance.

Key Features:

• 89°C (192°F ±4°F) opening temperature rating
• Direct replacement for OEM part number 30577561
• Designed for SAAB 4-cylinder engines including 2.0L and 2.3L applications
• Fits SAAB 900, 9000, 9-3, and 9-5 models from 1984-2009
• Maintains proper coolant flow control for engine temperature regulation

How It Works:

The thermostat blocks coolant flow to the radiator until the engine reaches proper operating temperature (approximately 192°F). Once warmed up, the thermostat opens to allow hot coolant to flow to the radiator for cooling before recirculation. This process ensures the engine runs at its optimal temperature, preventing overheating and maintaining fuel efficiency.

Common Failure Symptoms:

• Engine overheating (thermostat stuck closed)
• Engine runs too cool or takes excessive time to warm up (thermostat stuck open)
• Poor fuel economy due to inefficient engine temperature
• Heater performance issues

This aftermarket replacement thermostat should be installed whenever major cooling system work is performed to ensure reliable engine temperature control and prevent costly engine damage.
