Behr 70818353NA A/c Receiver Drier

The Behr 70818353NA A/C Receiver Drier is a critical component in your vehicle's air conditioning system, designed to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Located on the high-pressure side of the A/C loop, this receiver drier performs two essential functions that keep your climate control system operating efficiently.

Key Functions:

• Stores and filters liquid refrigerant coming from the condenser before it reaches the expansion valve
• Contains a desiccant material that removes moisture from the refrigerant, preventing corrosion and ice formation within the system
• Filters out contaminants and debris to protect downstream A/C components
• Prevents liquid refrigerant from entering the compressor, which could cause damage

Professional Grade Quality:

Behr, now part of Mahle Behr, brings over a century of thermal management expertise to this replacement part. As an OE supplier to major automotive manufacturers, Behr receiver driers are engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for precise fit and reliable performance.

Important Service Note:

Industry best practice requires replacement of the receiver drier whenever the A/C system is opened for service or repair. The desiccant material inside absorbs moisture from the air once exposed, reducing its effectiveness. Installing a new receiver drier during A/C system service helps ensure proper system operation and prevents future problems.

This receiver drier is designed for professional installation and should be replaced as part of complete A/C system maintenance or repair.
