GPD 9444786 A/C Receiver Drier - Kit

The GPD 9444786 A/C Receiver Drier Kit is a critical component designed to maintain optimal performance in your vehicle's air conditioning system. This receiver drier is engineered to meet OE specifications and is manufactured by Global Parts Distributors (GPD), a trusted supplier of automotive A/C components with decades of experience in the aftermarket industry.

Key Features:

• Removes moisture from the A/C system using an internal desiccant element
• Filters solid contaminants and debris from refrigerant flow
• Stores excess liquid refrigerant for high-demand cooling conditions
• Direct-fit design for precise installation
• Includes mounting bracket for secure installation
• Manufactured to OE quality standards

The receiver drier plays a vital role in the high-pressure side of the A/C system, working in conjunction with the condenser to collect and store liquid refrigerant while filtering out moisture and contaminants. The internal desiccant absorbs water vapor that can damage system components and reduce cooling efficiency. This component must be replaced whenever the A/C system is opened to atmosphere during service or repair to ensure proper system operation and longevity.
