GPD 9442889 A/C Receiver Drier - Kit

The GPD 9442889 is a direct-fit A/C receiver drier kit designed to restore proper function to your vehicle's air conditioning system. The receiver drier is a critical component in thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) A/C systems, positioned in the high-pressure liquid line between the condenser and the expansion valve, where it removes moisture and traps debris to protect the system.

Key Features:

• Designed to remove moisture and contaminants from the A/C system
• Contains a desiccant that absorbs water to prevent corrosion and sludge buildup
• Direct-fit replacement engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications
• Pre-sealed to prevent premature desiccant saturation prior to installation
• Backed by GPD's one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

Replacement of the receiver drier is required any time the A/C system is opened for service. Failing to replace the drier during a compressor or system repair can lead to moisture contamination, corrosion, sludge formation, and premature component failure. GPD has been a trusted name in aftermarket automotive air conditioning parts since 1974, offering a full line of HVAC components for a wide range of domestic and import vehicles.
