GPD 9432505 A/C Receiver Drier - Kit

The GPD 9432505 A/C Receiver Drier Kit is a critical component designed to maintain the efficiency and longevity of your vehicle's air conditioning system. This receiver drier removes moisture and contaminants from the A/C system, protecting it from internal corrosion and debris that can cause system failure.

Key Features:

• Contains desiccant material that absorbs moisture from the refrigerant system
• Internal filter traps debris and contaminants that cannot be removed by flushing
• Located in the high-pressure liquid line between the condenser and expansion valve
• Designed for direct-fit installation on specific vehicle applications
• Manufactured by Global Parts Distributors (GPD) to meet or exceed OEM specifications
• Essential replacement component when servicing A/C systems

The receiver drier stores liquid refrigerant from the condenser and ensures only pure, dry refrigerant reaches the expansion valve. Industry best practices recommend replacing the receiver drier whenever the A/C system is opened for major service, as the desiccant becomes saturated when exposed to atmospheric moisture. Failure to replace a saturated receiver drier can lead to moisture contamination, which causes corrosion, leaks, sludge formation, and compressor damage. This replacement is often required to validate new compressor warranties.
