GPD 9423274 A/C Receiver Drier - Kit

The GPD 9423274 is an A/C Receiver Drier Kit from Global Parts Distributors (gpd), a leading aftermarket supplier of automotive air conditioning and heating components. This receiver drier kit is engineered to restore proper function and protect the integrity of your vehicle's A/C system.

The receiver drier serves as a critical component in Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV)-based A/C systems, located in the high-pressure liquid line between the condenser and the expansion valve. It contains a desiccant element that absorbs moisture and filters debris from the refrigerant, preventing corrosion, sludge buildup, and system failure.

Key Features:

• Removes moisture and contaminants from the A/C system to prevent internal corrosion and sludge
• Must be replaced any time the A/C system is opened for service
• Replacement is required when servicing or replacing the A/C compressor
• Manufactured by gpd (Global Parts Distributors), a trusted name in aftermarket A/C parts since 1974
• Backed by gpd's one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship
• Designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications for fit, form, and function

Replacing the receiver drier during any major A/C service is strongly recommended by leading service authorities, as debris and moisture cannot be removed by flushing alone. Installing a fresh receiver drier helps protect the new or existing compressor and ensures reliable, long-term cooling performance.
