GPD 9422150 A/C Receiver Drier - Kit

The GPD 9422150 is an aftermarket A/C receiver drier kit engineered to restore proper function to your vehicle's air conditioning system. Designed as a direct-fit replacement, this unit meets or exceeds original equipment specifications for reliable, long-lasting performance.

The receiver drier—also referred to as a filter drier or receiver dehydrator—is a critical component in the high-pressure side of the A/C system. It serves as a temporary reservoir for refrigerant and oil, filters debris from the system, and contains a desiccant that absorbs harmful moisture before it can cause corrosion or compressor damage.

Key Features:

• Contains desiccant material to absorb moisture and protect A/C system components
• Integrated filter traps debris and contaminants circulating in the system
• Acts as a refrigerant and oil reservoir during periods of low cooling demand
• Direct-fit replacement meeting or exceeding OE specifications
• Backed by GPD's one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

The receiver drier must be replaced any time the A/C system is opened for service. Once exposed to atmosphere, the desiccant quickly becomes saturated and loses its ability to protect the system. Many compressor warranties also require receiver drier replacement as a condition of coverage. Trust GPD—a leader in aftermarket A/C parts since 1974—for a quality replacement that keeps your system running cool.
