GPD 9413226 A/C Receiver Drier - Kit

The GPD 9413226 A/C Receiver Drier Kit is a critical component designed to protect your vehicle's air conditioning system from moisture and contaminants. This replacement part serves as both a storage tank and filtration system for the A/C refrigerant circuit.

Key Features:

• Contains desiccant material to absorb harmful moisture from the refrigerant system
• Solid core filter captures dirt, rust, and foreign particles to prevent system damage
• Designed for high-pressure side installation between condenser and expansion valve
• Helps prevent corrosion and sludge formation that can lead to system failure
• Recommended replacement when performing major A/C service or compressor replacement

Regular replacement of the receiver drier is essential for maintaining optimal A/C system performance and protecting expensive components. The desiccant material can only hold approximately one tablespoon of moisture and becomes saturated within hours of exposure to atmosphere, making replacement critical whenever the system has been opened or has experienced a leak.
